New nurses will struggle during those first few years. Will there be moments when you aren’t happy performing your nurse job duties? Of course. What do you do when you don’t have the motivation to ‘be’ a nurse?
Remember your why
Why did you choose to become a nurse? What was it that motivated you to jump into the deep end and endure that horrid thing called nursing school? That’s how you find the motivation to continue on.
And the second question, “When will it click for a new nurse?”
